Body contouring is most often needed following a major weight loss or multiple pregnancies. The goal is to improve the shape and tone of a specific body part –- usually arms, stomachs or thighs -- and to remove excess sagging fat and skin.
Arm Lift:
Known as a brachioplasty, an arm lift reduces excess skin and fat, then reshapes your arm. Some liposuction may be required.
Tummy Tuck:
Also known as abdominoplasty, a tummy tuck is a procedure that is designed to remove excess fat and skin, and then centralizes or repositions separated muscles in the abdominal area. A tummy tuck usually involves some body shaping with liposuction in addition to skin and fat excision. It is major surgery and requires several weeks of recovery.
Thigh Lift:
By removing excess fat, tissue, and skin from the thigh area, this procedure improves the appearance of the entire leg for patients who have achieved significant weight loss.
