Carol Mischnick, M.D., who is trained as a general surgeon with a specialty in plastic surgery, is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Kansas University Medical Center. In 1979, she began her practice as a plastic surgeon in St. Louis, Missouri. Before opening her own Creve Coeur practice (Fantastic Plastic Surgery and Skin Fitness) in 2005, Dr. Mischnick was a partner with the Plastic Surgery Consultants Group in West County. Dr. Mischnick opened a new office in Ballwin in June 2010.

While many plastic surgeons channel their efforts into a single area of proficiency, Dr. Mischnick prefers a broader range of expertise for two reasons: First, she finds it personally satisfying to be able to assist returning patients with a new challenge to meet.
